TERM 2 -Where We Are In Place And Time
Hello Parents, Students were introduced to the unit on civilizations through an interactive powerpoint presentation, think board and bubble map. We discussed the powerpoint presentation and made connections with various cultures. The three ancient groups we researched were the Sumerians, Maya and Greeks. At the beginning of the lesson, we used a thinkboard to expand our word knowledge. We developed definitions, created sentences and brainstormed synonyms as well as drew representation of the word. This allowed us to express our understanding of the term in various ways. Group presentations Have a good week! Grade 3
