We learned about subject-verb agreement , and using "er" and "est" with adjectives . Maths: This week we learned that volume is the space that an object takes up. We reviewed area and perimeter . We compared different volumes. We practiced finding the volume of images and models using cubic units . We built models using blocks and playdoh and found the volume of the models to help further our understanding of the concept. We also reviewed x2 and x4 multiplication . We then worked with a partner to create our own poems about a chosen biome. We read news articles about the destruction of ecosystems and practiced creating our own titles. Maths: We practiced reading information from and creating bar, line, and pie graphs . We noticed that using a ruler made the graphs more clear and easier to read, and we practiced using the lines in our notebooks to help us write the numbers evenly. We also discovered that if our page is too small for the graph, we can use skip counting to draw the graph and choose a suitable scale . We also practiced analysing graphs and writ
