Dear Parents, Well-that's it! Grade 3 is over! I hope everyone enjoyed seeing the students' hard work during YEP. I have had a really wonderful year teaching Grade 3. Every student has grown in so many ways and it has been a pleasure to be a part of that journey. Thank you very much to all of the parents for your support this year. I will miss teaching the students very much, but I look forward to seeing what they can achieve in Grade 4! Have a relaxing and fun vacation! Thank you, Ms. Stacy. PS. I have attached screenshots of the email receipt of our donation. Dear Parents, We had a wonderful day at USJ! I'm sure there were a lot of sleepy kids on Friday night! The students were respectful and very well behaved at USJ. Last week we practiced close reading, worked on understanding equations, and practiced for YEP. This week we will work on our summative assessments for the unit, and enjoy our last week as Grade 3 students! See you on Friday! Ms. Stacy.

We practiced our close reading skills. We answered questions by looking for evidence in the biographies. We practiced writing using evidence to support our answers. Maths: We reviewed patterns and looked at different number patterns. We learned how to use a function machine, and how to recognise a missing piece of a function machine. This will lead us into understanding equations next week. We also practiced x3 and x4 multiplication. We used our understanding of length and measurement to measure clothes. We also used a map of the Dawn Centre stage to calculate the size of props needed. I love how students are using their maths skills as part of their inquiry-I didn't ask them to. They are just choosing to do it. Amazing! YEP (UOI): We had a BUSY week preparing and practicing for YEP. We finished most of our pr
