Dear Parents, We had a lovely day on our field trip to the recycling centre! We saw a lot of cool materials that are being fixed and reused. We had a lot of fun making paper out of old milk cartons! We enjoyed a relaxing picnic under the Autumn leaves in Expo Park. We also had a visitor who told us all about his work designing a solar powered car that raced across Australia! We had fun comparing 1 centimetre squared to 1 metre squared! A reminder to wear a science costume on Friday. Thank you, Ms. Stacy.

Dear Parents, Thank you again to those of you who could attend Parents' Morning. It was great to have you in the classroom! The students really enjoyed researching their different environmental problems and presenting for you. This week we also worked on reading maps, using keys, and following directions in Maths class. We practiced understanding and using suffixes in English class, and subject-verb agreement. We worked on our action plans for our unit. The students came up with really great ideas for how to help the Earth. Reminders: -We have our field trip on Thursday. Have a great weekend! Ms. Stacy.
