English

We continued to practice our persuasive writing skills to prepare for classroom debates.   We learned about poetry and created our own.  We also made the latest edition of our classroom newspaper for the year.

Math

In math we explored chance and data.  We learned about probability and explored chance with dice and spinners. We learned how to read graphs, and created our own from data that we collected ourselves.

Year End Performance

YEP this year was very exciting. Our class split into three groups and created scripts for plays.  One was an original story, while the other two were adaptations of famous fairy tales. It was a challenge to create props and costumes, but grade 3 tried their best.  They were very excited to add sound effects to their performance this year.
