Week 8

Dear Parents,

Great news! A new boy, Seitaro, will join our class from next Friday!

This week we started our new unit: sharing the planet: our actions affect life on Earth! We tuned into the unit by sharing what we think the central idea means-there were a lot of excellent ideas! We then looked up the meaning of a biome in the dictionary and made a list of biomes. We chose a biome that sounded interesting, and researched living factors, non-living factors, and the location of the biome.







In Maths, we distributed our surveys to different grades, collected the data, and represented it in a bar graph. It was fun!






In PSPE, we played team building games in the gym! 


In English, we focused on finding the main details of a chapter and using evidence to support our reasoning. We began reading The Halloween House. We created questions to find out information with our partners, and we have to find the answers for homework!

Unit 2 - How the World Works
