Term 3 Weeks 8-10

Dear Parents,

We had a quite an unusual end to the school year! The past couple of weeks of online learning have been new territory for all of us, but I am sure that the ICT skills that the students (and parents and teachers!) have learned will be helpful tools for the future!

We had a great day at Hirakata Park!

We inquired into the environmental impact of goods and services.

After learning that school would close and that YEP was cancelled, we performed a mini YEP for the other primary classes.

We continued learning using Zoom. I was impressed with how responsible the students were to attend the sessions and to do their assignments. It was a lot of fun too!

For our summative assessment for how we organise ourselves-the exchange of goods and services affects people and the environment, the students created Google Slides presentations and presented to the class over Zoom. They did great!

That's it! We finished Grade 3! We never expected that we would finish the year doing distance learning, but I am very proud of the students for being flexible and adapting to our new situation.

Our last lesson of Grade 3!

Thank you to each student in Grade 3 for being wonderful students. I had a truly great year with you all! I will miss being your teacher, but I will still enjoy talking to you every day! Thank you too to the families for all of your support this year!

See you in April!
Ms. Stacy.
