Term 1 Week 4

Dear Parents,

We had another busy week of online learning! We were very excited to be joined by a mystery guest-Mr. Derek joined us from America and read a story for us!

In Maths, we did some activities to work on our understanding of Perimeter. We measured the perimeter of our rooms, made a lego model and measured the perimeter of that, and found the perimter of the letters of our names.

In English, we learned the meaning and spellings of words beginning with "im". We also made up silly news events, and worked on creating a newspaper report. We practiced using our imagination, and including details to make our writing more interesting.

We researched into the circulatory system for our unit of inquiry. We found interesting facts about the heart, and made posters to show our learning. We started talking about how to stay healthy, and shared our knowledge with our friends.

Unit 2 - How the World Works
