Term 1 Week 10

Dear Parents,

This week we really improved with remembering our homework and also remembering to hand it in! Thank you for your support.

In Maths we practiced our 9 times tables. This was a little tricky, so we shared a few fun tricks to help remember. We also looked at a clock and learned about telling the time. We saw how we can use fractions to help with this.

In English we used Follow That Clue to practice answering comprehension question and we also looked at cause and effect relationships. We learned spelling words that end in "cian".

In UOI we presented our posters about our melting the ice challenge. We began planning out our summative assessments on this unit. We are having fun brainstorming and researching ideas!

In Art we used washi tape to create lines and angles, and painted over it using water colour paint to make a cool effect.
