English

Students worked on persuasive writing, spelling, vocabulary journals and created a picture book. They developed their editing skills and worked with peers to exchange ideas and feedback. Students also worked on presentation skills, creating note cards and developing goals for the next term.

Mathematics

This unit we focused on fractions, decimals as well as pattern & algebra. Students worked with number lines, and fractions strips to compare and order fractions.  They changed our classroom currency to fake American money to practice decimals.  They continued, compared and created patterns, and began to work with missing number equations and basic algebra.

It was another busy and exciting unit!
